Phase 2 Construction
IN CONSTRUCTION PHASE
Phase 2: I-80 Westbound (WB) Ramps to Shadow Lane
Phase 2 of the Sparks Blvd. Project is planned to begin construction in September 2025.
This phase includes the widening of Sparks Boulevard to six lanes, the reconfiguration of intersections along the corridor to accommodate cars, pedestrians, transit, and bicycles, in addition to improvements to multi-use paths.
Phase 2 of the Sparks Blvd. Project represents an approximate $86-million investment in our community.
Phase 1
COMPLETE
Phase 1: Greg Street to Lincoln Way
Phase 1 of the Sparks Blvd. Project began in July 2022, and is now completed.
This phase included the restriping of three lanes in each direction, rehabilitation of existing pavement, safety improvements and continued connectivity on the multi-use path.
Phase 1 of the Sparks Blvd. Project represents an approximate $12 million investment in our community.
